This is actually a fairly common occurrence.. FarCry for Flash front
ends.  All you need to do is build a facade component in your projects
webroot that serves up only the content that your Flex application is
entitled to.  Trying to open up the FarCry component library for
general consumption would not be a good idea.

If you have no session persistence in your Flex app that needs to be
continued through to FarCry, eg to view secured content, then the
whole process is really very straightforward.
