I've found that in general, if you turn off CF Debugging or remove your IP
from the list it speeds things up drastically. That may not be your entire
problem but it might help.

Not sure why but for some reason my dev server FC4 is runnig way too
slow. Its been doing it for a awhile and I've been busy so I have been
working directly on the production server, however now I need to do
some work I dont want ot do in production so I am back to trying to
figure this out... I isolated this to the farcry site... IIS and CF
are working fine outside of the FC site...

Here's a snippet of the execution times

Execution Time

Total Time Avg Time Count Template
10297 ms 10297 ms 1 E:\InetPub\farcry\core\tags\farcry
\_farcryApplication.cfm
10297 ms 10297 ms 1 E:\InetPub\farcry\core\tags\farcry\farcryInit.cfm
10297 ms 10297 ms 1 E:\InetPub\farcry\projects\www_cmicro_com\www
\Application.cfm
10282 ms 10282 ms 1 CFC[ E:\InetPub\farcry\core\packages\farcry
\alterType.cfc | refreshAllCFCAppData() ] from E:\InetPub\farcry\core
\packages\farcry\alterType.cfc

I figured I had jacked something up in dev, so I pulled the prod DB
and all files back on to the dev server, but hte processing is still
really slow. 10 - 20 seconds to bring up the sites "home page". in
production its like 2 seconds..

Ideas where to start looking?
