TinyMCE lives in /core/admin/includes/lib/tinymce so you should be able update the content of that folder.
I can't remember where the code for the farcry button lives, so I would be careful that you don't trash this functionality when you update the tinymce installation. Also I guess you'd need to make sure that the config settings in the formtools/richtext.cfc is still valid for TinyMCE 3.
