Depends on the content you are publishing. News and Event content types by default can be "forward published" by setting a publish date at some point in the future. Other content types, such as HTML page, cannot. For example, HTML pages are typically part of a hierarchy, setting forward publish dates for them is going to generally play havoc with navigation and so on. Generally the FarCry security model deals with roles which are essentially groups of users.
