OK, considering that I've been working with FC3 for the past three years, I feel a bit stupid to ask this question. (And, yes, I did go to the Wiki - it only illustrates the media library with images, not with files.)
Basically, the question is: how do you link from a dmHTML/dmNews (and others) object to a dmFile file. My client has: 1. Uploaded a PDF file to the media library 2. Related the file to the dmNews object 3. Tried to link to it through the link function in TinyMCE. But the attached/related file does not show up on the list. Is there a fundamentally different and new way to linking to files in FC4 (from FC3)? Or is there something wrong with the FC installation (this is on a shared server). Adding images using the media library is working fine. We attach the image to the object and then it appears in the image list in TinyMCE. Thanks for your help.
