If you're using shared hosting, then yes... they likely restart quite often. One company famous for this is HostMySite. If you're on a tight budget, another option you can look into is VPS from these companies. However because FarCry is a cached framework (like any good framework should be), it requires RAM. And VPS solutions charge ridiculous amounts of money for the use of RAM (RAM is so inexpensive to purchase that it boggles the mind how they are able to get away with these drastically high prices for the use of more RAM). This allows me to use the hardware of choice and pay nothing but a parked fee and bandwidth usage. Most of my clients have their own facilities on-location, so I am lucky to rarely run into this issue.
