That is the latest stable release.  I have a newer version I wrote a while back 
for that client (features they wanted), but I never packaged it up for public 
consumption (it's a lot of work to make sure you test everything for different 
environments, CF versions, browser versions, etc.  Plus it takes a lot of time 
to write decent documentation (more time than I'd like to admit).  So, I don't 
really plan to release the newer version.

If you're interested, the newer version took advantage of features released in 
the next version of the JW FLV player (the one you see on that site is version 
3.x.  The one I updated all the code for was 4.5+.  There are even newer 
versions of the player out now).  That client will be leaving that player soon 
for a different solution we will be writing for them.  So I have no need or 
motivation to continue support for the plugin.

But don't fret, the stable release of the plugin as it is now works quite well 
and I've gotten many emails from people still using it that appreciate it.  
Make sure to read the docs.  Especially if you've never used a FarCry plugin 
before.
