Thought folks might be interested in checking out a working demo of
the Janrain Engage[1] user directory plugin[2]. This allows you to
set up any number of proxy authentication services like Google Apps,
Twitter, OpenID, Yahoo, and so on.

We've got a little prototype[3] called "Votebox" running on the FarCry
Core public site that pulls content from the issue tracker and allows
folks to vote on it. All you have to do is login using one of the
nominated Janrain enabled services. FarCry automatically gives you a
profile with a special role allowing you to vote.

Not sure we'll be running with the "Votebox" for the site as its part
of a larger project we're working on, and this is just a demo. But
please let us know what you think of the concept and how it works.

Sign in and vote here (for the moment at any rate):

Enjoy!
