Seems that small FC5 to FC6 bugs are haunting me at every turn. I have the following property:
<cfproperty ftseq="20" ftFieldSet="Research Details" name="research" type="longchar" ftType="richtext" ftLabel="Research Description" ftValidation="required" fthelpsection="Please do not copy text from Word, as the formating will not come out correctly on the website and you might be required to resubmit."/> When I try to edit this, and leave it blank, the proper validation "This field is required." comes up. I then type something in. Click "Save" again, another line of "This field is required." comes up (the other one hasn't gone away), but still won't submit. This is in the webtop with the generic edit form. The same issue also happens on a custom edit form, but that is a different matter. Any ideas where to start debugging? One hint seems to be that for other fields that are "required", clicking the "save" button pops me up to that field. This does not happen with the richtext field. My guess is that there is some TinyMCE compatibility issue going on here. Anyone else seen this or know of a solution?
