Thanks to some assistance from Blair, I have created new tab for the overview screen for Roles (farRole) So you can see the mapped Groups and Permissions for the selected role which saves having to edit and cancel out to see what has been defined.
Just drop the attached into webskin\farRole
of your project (or plugin)
eg
/farcry/plugins/skinProject/webskin/farRole/webtopOverviewTabGroups.cfm
then update app -> COAPI metaData
Groups are slit out into separate User Directories
eg
Groups
LDAP User Directory
- _intranetMgrs
Farcry User Directory
- SiteAdmin
Permissions are listed out by name.
