Yep we've already run into that issue. We're thinking that we'll include the JRE for Windows just to make it easier, but we'd rather not have 5 different express packages if we can help it - I think 1 is enough :)
That package also doesn't have working friendly URLs. Not sure yet whether we'll try to use Jetty 7's built in rewrites or try to get the Tuckey URLRewrite working, Blair said it currently has troubles forwarding POST requests. cheers, Justin On Fri, Nov 4, 2011 at 12:18 PM, AJ Mercer <[email protected]> wrote: > It looks like you have downloaded Railo Express without JRE > > in the start.bat (windows) > the command is > "jre/bin/java" > which does not exists > > I have java in my path > so I was able to remove the path and just have "java" for it to run > > > For it to be completely standalone, i think the best option would be to > include the JRE > > > On 4 November 2011 08:49, Geoff Bowers <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Folks, >> >> Blair's cobbled together a Railo Express install for FarCry -- this is >> basically a ZIP you download, unpack, double-click "start" and you have a >> fully functional FarCry CMS demo.
