So, to the fix. For some reason, and I cannot yet discern what that
reason is, when I extended my own content object this behavior was
created. By moving everything into object in the project, and not
extending my plugin, it now appears to be working. I cannot replicate
this (yet) with extending something like dmEvent, so maybe it's the name
of my object?
