Looking at the coldfusion logs I am finding lots of file not found errors for Farcry 6 site. After looking into this I found these are files that don’t exist and are being called from the browser and should be returning a 404. It seems that something in Farcry 6 on the site is not returning the http error codes to the browser and is simply resolving 404,303 etc as the site home page with a 200 code.
Is there a way of stopping this behaviour as I understand this is a standard behaviour as from v5? I am worried that link checkers and robots can not identify dead or moved pages and also may affect the sites Google ranking.
