You'll want to upgrade to 5.0, then 5.1, then 5.2, then 6.2 (you can skip 6.0
and 6.1 and just go right to 6.2 which was just released). The reasons for
that specific upgrade path is because there were some major changes between
those releases and as long as you go in that order, FarCry has an upgrade
process to help walk you through it. Make sure each time you move to a new
version you update the application scope cache (using ?updateapp=[mykey]) and
that you deploy any required changes in the COAPI manager for each version.

FarCry 6.0.18+ supports Railo officially, however during your upgrades you
might want to run it on ACF first (you can just use developer edition which is
free). Railo may run just fine on 4.0.9+, but I know there were a couple
hiccups in a couple versions in between with regards to Railo (I believe they
were pretty minor though, so you might be fine using Railo on those older
versions).

One thing to note though is that if you plan to run it on later versions of CF
(which is fine), you'll need to disable two functions in FarCry core for FarCry
4 and 5 (I forgot which ones off-hand. You can search the forums to find
them). They were removed in FarCry 6, o you don't have to worry about them
there.

Once you're on FarCry 6+, the upgrade and plugins should be smoother going
forward (the nature of progression :)

Regards,
