That sounds acceptable to me. Though in my specific case the main source
of these errors are bots. Ideally the 404.cfm page would provide feedback
to the bot that the indexed page it is trying to access is no longer
available and should be removed from it's cache. Would the 404.cfm
accomplish this currently?
