We have a situation where some editors have quite a few draft html items
showing in their overview page which cannot be previewed or edited.
When you click on the link you can open the item and see the general,
miscellaneous tabs etc, but the only button on the left is the Preview
button and when you click on it you get the error:
'You have been denied access to this item'.

I don't believe this is a permissions thing as I changed the owner of the
page in question to myself (in database) and I have system admin
rights including permissions on all webskins (*).

I believe this could have happened after a site tree rebuild some time ago.

I have looked in the database and this object appears in the dmHtml table
and well as data in the dmNavigation_aObjectIDs table. If I understand this
correctly this means the page has a parent navigation item.
I then tried searching in the nested_tree_objects for this parent
navigation item of the rogue page, but it didn't exist.
So does this mean the html page exists, but is not linked into the site
tree. Could this be the reason I cannot preview it from the overview page?

I have tried (on our test system) doing another site tree rebuild and also
fixing RefObjects table with 'remove rogue dmNavigation sub-objects' set at
'Yes'.
This did not make any difference.
Apart from deleting the items in the html table (or maybe changing the
owners) can anyone suggest a way to remove these rogue items?
