Yeah, that was a small bug. It's been fixed and is in svn trunk already. I doubt he meant CF 6, because I don't think he would even get that far (not sure though. Haven't used CF 6 since early 2005). I'm guessing he meant CF 9.0.1.
Just in case, it should be pointed out that FarCry 6.x requires a minimum of ColdFusion 8 or Railo 3.3 (at least I think it's 3.3. Might want to double check that). As Geoff pointed out though, if you're just trying to give FarCry a quick test drive, you should probably consider the express version first. It's only meant for that (a test drive), but at least you can get a basic feel for it as a solution before diving in. The express version is designed so that you just just double click a startup script and it just works (no installing coldfusion, Railo, FarCry, etc). You can even run it from a flash drive. If you're ready to start toying with code, that's when you might want to consider an actual install. -- Jeff Coughlin On Dec 27, 2012, at 22:58, Geoff Bowers <mod...@daemon.com.au> wrote: Did you really mean ColdFusion 6? This may be something that snuck into the code base just before Christmas with all the i18n fixes. Likely this is fixed already in the code base.. Just not in the zipped distro. As an interim solution you might try the Railo express version to get a feel for how FarCry works. It will run standalone without any need for installation etc. GB On Friday, December 28, 2012, SPalmer wrote: > Hello, > > I have just installed Farcry version 6.2.4 with the intent of evaluating > this as a CMS system for my employer.
