SHINY CAMP UPDATE
=================

Daemonites back in the idea factory safe and sound.

We didn't quite get to BETA status despite our best efforts -- too many
feature additions at the camp! We define BETA as near feature complete,
with no obvious issues -- ie. you shouldn't be able to click on something
and its just plain bust or "coming soon". So in that light we are now
running a stable ALPHA with a lot of sweet nectar sloshing about, but a few
too many holes.

Alpha Features Built
------------------

Including but not limited to

- all new webtop - schmick ;)
-- bootstrap ui
-- font-awesome
-- totally pluggable; yep, a plugin for a webtop theme
-- no framesets
-- shortcuts/favourites
- new site tree with backbone.js ui (such a short statement for so much
goodness)
- undelete/undo/archive sub system
- desktop/tablet/mobile preview
- asynchronous task queue (oh the awesomeness!)
- bulk image upload (well bulk anything upload) with drag/drop
- tinyMCE 4 with tight integration (at last!)
- formtools works with either bootstrap (new) or uniform (old)
- no more css/js conflicts between webtop and front end
- full blown CDN support (S3, FTP and more)

Features added at Camp
-------------------------

- all new app and data packager
-- leads to..
--- new installer
--- new migrator; imagine just exporting a production app with a click to
do a few tweaks locally ;)
- overhaul of logging and maybe a new observation architecture

Is it ready for developing on? Daemon already has several new projects
under way on the 7.0 platform -- we like it, but then we know where the
holes are ;) I would say "hold your horses" unless you are a few months
out from deploying.

Enjoy!
