Yep... I agree, I have NEVER managed to get the XP search string thingy to
work correctly or at all.

Sheesh.... Windows Search in XP Pro is crapola. Before posting the
original Q, I searched through all the FarCry files, but this damn
machine never seems to find strings contained in files.
