Hi,

I have been scratching my head over this problem now for the last 4 days
and have had enough.... time to ask for help.

Our farcry installation is working fine, except one problem. When editing
the content in the body of a page, all works fine until you insert a link
to another page. If you click next a browser error comes back:

Cannot find server or DNS Error

If before clicking next, I change to HTML view (using soEditor Lite) and
remove the URL variable from the link, everything works fine.

eg
When inserting a link from the navigation tree, the link looks like:
<P><A
href="/index.cfm?objectId=76397671-FEA3-0007-8BF2854450DD4AFB">Sitemap</A></P>

This won't save.

However if I change the link to:
<P><A href="/index.cfm">Sitemap</A></P>

it works fine.

Nothing else on the farcry install appears to be having any problems.

What I have noticed is if I access the farcry site via it's IP address,
adding links in the content works fine. But as the company contracted to
update the content for this site, is an external organisation they can't
access the site via IP. The IP address is internal only, and sits behind
a firewall. That aside, the domain is working so I don't understand why
everything else is working fine, just not adding links to content.

I have checked that the soEditorLite settings have the correct domain name
set as baseURL and that the general settings have the correct admin server
set. Have also changed the editor to HTMLArea and pasted the links in,
with the same results.

As this is the first farcry site I have installed (in production anyway)
I’m sure it’s just something I have forgotten to check.
