No problem, if you prefer to have 2 files for cross compilation and native compilation, i'm fine with it too. For sure the one i gave you is tailored for my system, but i believe it would work on most Linux setup with a cross compiler in the PATH (the tool names are pretty standard).
As a an unrelated side note, i'm working on a SQL LIKE optimization for category which trades case insensitiveness (it is better for my use case anyway) and maybe wildcard escaping which seems to be very encouraging (around 2 order of magnitude faster).
