Hi,

as discussed breifly on the fastboot mailing list last week
David Woodhouse has set up a kexec mailing list which
will hopefully have (a lot) less spam than the fastboot list.

With this in mind I would like to encourage everyone to use
the kexec list instead of the fastboot list - currently
kexec work is all that the fastboot list is used for (other than spam).

If all goes well we can change the kernel MAINTAINERS file
and other documentation accordingly at a slightly later date.

You can sign up and view the (microscopic) archive at
http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/kexec

David advises me that there are two spam-reduction rules that users
should keep in mind:

  * No attachments
Please send patches and the like inline in accordance with
the patch sumission guidelines that can be found at.

On the topic of patch submission. I think it would be
good if kernel and user-space patches alike followed
    the guidelines at:
    http://www.zip.com.au/~akpm/linux/patches/stuff/tpp.txt

  * If there is an "Re: " in the subject then there must also
    be a "References:" header

David has an extensive document detailing verious issues relating
to email being rejeted http://david.woodhou.se/email.html
