Yeah, in fact I thought about that, too. One downside is that the LV2
wrapper by falkTX still hasn't been integrated yet, but otherwise it looks
pretty nice. I decided to pick the low-hanging fruit first, though, and
that was VST (which is cross-platform as well, it's just not supported by
all Mac-based DAWs). Luckily, I currently have a student who is interested
in writing a thesis about the topic of cross-platform plugin
implementations, so we'll surely have a hard look at JUCE some time next
year. :)
