All those binaries are pretty old. Which is another reason to prefer the
MacPorts package (I just updated this a couple of weeks ago to the latest
git revision, so it's pretty recent and includes the polyphony support).
Also, the MP package has different variants which let you choose which Qt
version to build against and whether you want to build with Jack support or
not.

So, Mykle, if you already have MacPorts installed then my advice would be
to just use the MacPorts package. Otherwise, you have to decide whether you
want to go through the hassle of installing MacPorts (not really that much
work) or stick to the old binaries (there's a package there from Nov 2015
which seems to be CoreAudio-only).
