The code generated by the Faust compiler is yours, but it should be pointed
out that if you use one of the available architectures such as vst.cpp or
faustvst.cpp to create your VST plugin, then your plugin also contains the
code of that architecture and so you have to abide by its license
conditions (BSD in the case of vst.cpp, LGPL in the case of faustvst.cpp),
or negotiate your own terms with the authors of the architectures. (The
same is true for all the other Faust architectures.)
Of course, you can always use your own architecture or VST glue code, so
that the plugin code is entirely yours. But in the case of VST, most likely
you're also going to link against the VST SDK from Steinberg in order to
create a working plugin binary, in which case you also have to comply with
Steinberg's (proprietary) license. But if you've been selling VST plugins
then you surely know that already...
