And hello again :-),

So after messing around for a while there are still following issues/solutions
with faust2unity -w64 when loading into unity3d in windows:

  * After import you have to rename the “FaustPlugin_foo.dll" to
“libFaustPlugin_foo.dll”
  * You also have to import the file libwinpthread-1.dll into the same folder
in unity…if you do not the console will complain, that it does not find your
dll...
  * If your Faust Plugin is Mono you will have to change the unity audio to
mono as well. If you do not do so the sound will sound chunky and distorted
because half of the buffer is not being written.
  * If your Faust Plugin is Stereo and Unity is in stereo mode as well for
some reason the gain-value between 0. and 1. got multiplied quite significantly
in my case…I didn’t find out why…it sounded extremely distorted and there were
values far greater than the supposed -1.-1….but with the gain low enough it
sounded fine.

So far so good. Hope that helps whomever it may concern out there and I also
hope it helps for further optimising the compilation faust2unity.

All the best

Olav
