Hello Stéphane (and all),

        Ah ok…  It didn’t click the first time when I read that section that 
'freq, gain, and gate’ where specific captures of the MIDI Key On Velocity 
Data. I thought they were arbitrary examples.

        I guess my question is then, what would be the best way to remap the 
‘gain' to other signal parameters?  Like into the cutoff frequency of a filter?

        Is it just a matter of writing a function for the mapping I want using 
Gain as and input param, or is there a proper Faustian way to do route the 
‘gain’ into something else like that?
