One thing to add:

- historically the « message param_name » was the first chosen syntax to change 
controller values

- then we saw that « param_name » may not be unique in all DSP...

- so we added this OSC like path syntax where path have to be unique

- but the old naming scheme was maintaining since it is convenient in a lot of 
cases

- no with the new attribute model, the old naming scheme has to use the « 
message @param_name »  syntax

Hoppig hits is not too disturbing at the end !
