Hi Thomas, I'm not a mac user so I may not be able to help you. Nonetheless, it would probably help us to help you if you paste: - the contents of your /etc/paths file - the result when you run 'echo $PATH' (no quotes) in a terminal - the command you run that leads to the error you see, together with all the error/output that results.
