The music industry now know Andrew Gowers and the Treasury do not want to extend their monopoly rights. In response, they're now lobbying harder than ever in the press and in Whitehall to get the report quashed, which would be truly disastrous. In response, its more important than ever that we express our deep concerns at their proposals to extend the term.

Please please sign our petition, and pass it on to sympathisers, so that we can tell the Treasury, the Gowers team and the rest of Government that to not extend the term is truly the will of the people. Right now, we only have around 300 names, but its gotta be at least 4 figures if our shout is to carry. If we stop extension here, we'll stop it in Europe too - this is our most important battle yet for a sensible IP regime.

Pls will everyone on this list sign, and pass the good word on to your families, friends, enemies... everyone and anyone!
