Typically FCoE logs into a FC fabric via a FCF (Fibre Channel Forwarder). Alternatively, you can run FCoE in VN2VN mode which is a point-to-multipoint mode. > Ethernet switch must support FCoE or can it work with a regular Ethernet > switch ? Keep in mind that FCoE does not use TCP/IP like iSCSI does, so typically people use DCB with FCoE to provide reliability. It really depends on your needs, but you might want a DCB capable switch. Hope this helps, //Rob _______________________________________________ fcoe-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.open-fcoe.org/mailman/listinfo/fcoe-devel
