Whether PAUSE is sufficient depends very much on the switches being used and 
possibly how they are configured. Very simple inexpensive switches may be tuned 
to expect at most 1500-byte packets, so the larger packets of FCoE could 
possibly result in buffer overflows in the switches resulting in packet loss.

What kind of switches are you using and how much do you know about them? Are 
there multiple switches in the path between your initiators and your target?
