Sirs, Thanx for the suggestion of dos32a .But it uses the DOS-extenders such as int 31h and int 64 ax=0xDE00 ect. But my idea is, as per Intel docs part 3,which suggests about mode switching from real mode to pmode ,setting up IDT , LDT .. Etc. I am looking at pmode programming for setting up the cr0 registers,LGTR instructions ,etc from google message board and other sites. OK, A beginners idea(from me): 1)Linux made the boot image at the time of boot process itself.(I dont have the Linux src ) . if not then, In the kernel.asm at kernel_start: a switch to pmode (after setting up the needed structures). But pmode interrupt should be taken care by the structure IDT.
2)With out modifying any of the code ,as Mr. Bart said , programming for VCPI , DPMI. All the above are very easy to talk but coding part??.
