Hi all,
unfortunately, KE2028 for FAT32 is broken.
it can, and probably will destroy your data,
when writing to a FAT32 drive. sorry for that.
FAT16 support was OK, though.
as I consider that serious, and Bart is busy
on personal business, here is an temporary,
intermediate fix:
please download from
http://freedos.sourceforge.net/emm386/ke2028ax.zip
KERNEL.SYS - replace your kernel.sys with this one.
changes:
KERNEL\FATTAB.C - removed the WRONG ELSE_ISFAT16()
HDR\FAT.H - removed the WRONG ELSE_ISFAT16()
additional changes:
KERNEL\FATFS.C
ke2028 would crash if RMDIR an existing file
KERNEL\CONFIG.C, KERNEL\MAIN.C , HDR\PORTAB.H
implements INSTALL(high)=
implements COUNTRY=countrycode (and ignores everything else)
regards
tom
