Investigation Reveals Additional Amounts of Counterfeit Lipitor FDA's ongoing investigation into counterfeit Lipitor, first announced May 23, has turned up additional counterfeit quantities of the cholesterol-lowering drug. Three additional lots of 10- and 20-milligram tablets in 90-tablet bottles are implicated (details are in FDA's announcement below). FDA continues to advise healthcare providers and consumers to check packaging carefully before using Lipitor.
