Chris,
Interesting request. I will forward your email to Seagate. However as one of their designated ISV's for enterprise management, I can tell you that we currently support only Windows platforms. The fact that 10% of your systems are on Linux and OSX is not uncommon and we have addressed this need in our roadmap. At this point I cannot give you a better indication of when those platforms will be supported. I am particularly interested in the Seagate Momentus drives but I'm having some difficulty finding the information that I am looking for. 90% of my users are running Windows XP, with the remaining 10% using Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OS X. Are Momentus drives compatible with EXT3 and HFS+ file systems? Is there an enterprise management tool out there for administering these drives that is supported by all three client operating systems? Regards, -Chris
