We solved a similar issue (building multiple branches from same sources) by passing some information to make; e.g. see http://ensc.de/fedora/0007-pass-some-information-to-the-make-srpm-task.patch 'make' extracts then the branch-id out of the scm revision and set e.g. correct %dist.
