Hi,

I am trying to install Muradora 1.3.1 with Fedora 2.2.2 on my Mac. The
installation went OK, but when I tried to create an item/collection, I got
the following error and Tomcat went unresponsive:

INFO: getFoxmlFromPid pid=changeme:9
WARN 2009-03-18 00:20:28.131 [http-8080-6] (SolrDOManager) Error sending
update to Solr service via URL:
http://localhost:8080/solr/fedora?pid=changeme%3A9&action=savePid&commit=tru
e
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
    at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method)
    at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:129)

...

It seems that when Solr tried to connection with Fedora at this call
³fedoraClient.getAPIM()², it got stuck. The previous call to get the
fedoraClient got executed without complain. The Fedora admin account and
password for Solr is set correctly. I can access these urls through my
browser with no issues: http://localhost:8080/fedora/services/access?wsdl
http://localhost:8080/fedora/services/management?wsdl

Anyone has seen this problem before? Any theories on possible cause of the
hang of getAPIM() ?

Thanks.

Jane
