There are no specific plans I know of to change the way the API is
exposed over HTTP. However, architecturally I am hoping we can
eventually extract it out as a service that truly runs separately from
Fedora. When that happens, it seems like it'd be a good time to
consider whether a straight SPARQL protocol endpoint would be more
appropriate than the Fedora-specific risearch interface we have today.
Or maybe something else. Do you have a particular idea in mind?
