Dear fedora users, We're setting up fedora and planning to start ingesting our digital objects with two metadata datastreams: * A DC datastream * A METS datastream, with all the remaining metadata
I believe this approach is similar to the one followed by Indiana University: http://wiki.dlib.indiana.edu/confluence/display/INF/Fedora+Metadata+Storage+Philosophy However, we're struggling to find the right OAI_DC and METS editors. We are really trying to avoid dealing with XML files directly, and are very surprised that we are not finding tools to visually produce these formats. I realize coding a OAI_DC editor is not a hard task, but the same cannot be said of METS, specially taking into account that it can embed several other kinds of metadata formats. Any suggestion on which set of tools to use in this scenario? Thank you!
