Hi Matt, djatoka v1.1, released on Monday, removes the need to preform this additional step you describe, see the svc.scale parameter. I've tested the getImageView approach on my local Fedora 3.1 instance and all worked well by changing relative application paths (e.g. javascript, css, etc) to absolute paths.
These model use djatoka v1.1 and the current djatoka IIPImage Viewer.
