Hi folks,
I've recently set up a new instance of Fedora 3.2 on a new server and
was going to use the fedora-export CLI tool to export the existing
content from a Fedora 3.1 installation. However, when I run the
following command from the new server:
./fedora-export.sh ir.hil.unb.ca:8081 fedoraAdmin myPassword DMO default
default /tmp/fedoradump http fedora
I receive the following Java exception:
Error : java.lang.NullPointerExceptionjava.lang.NullPointerException
at fedora.client.utility.export.Export.one(Export.java:76)
at fedora.client.utility.export.Export.multi(Export.java:118)
at fedora.client.utility.export.Export.main(Export.java:268)
The Fedora logs on the ir.hil.unb.ca server show authentication requests
for the fedoraAdmin user, but no error messages. The Tomcat logs also
do not show any error messages.
I assume that the requisite Fedora classes are being found since there
are no ClassDefNotFound exceptions and the existing server is logging
auth requests. Has anyone else encountered this?
