Hi there I have a question about the mets-ingest-example.xml <http://fedora-commons.org/confluence/download/attachments/4981047/mets- ingest-example.xml?version=1&modificationDate=1218738861862> given at http://fedora-commons.org/confluence/display/FCR30/Fedora+METS
It says later on that a mets:dmdSecFedora tag must be present if a DC record is supplied within the file. "If a DC record is provided in the METS submission package it should be encoded within a METS:dmdSecFedora. The dmdSecFedora element will act as the datastream version group container. It MUST have an ID attribute whose value is "DC" to be recognized by Fedora!" However, the example mets xml file does not contain the mets:dmdSecFedora tag. Can you explain why this is?
