Ok, the Java version is likely the cause. You'll need Java 5 or 6 to
successfully run Fedora 3.3. I'm actually surprised you didn't get an error
to that effect before this step in the installer. I've added an improvement
ticket for that here: http://fedora-commons.org/jira/browse/FCREPO-669
Anyway, I'd recommend going straight to Java 6 because Java 5 is no longer
being updated by Sun as of Nov last year. In fact, starting with Fedora
3.4, Java 1.6 will be required.
