Hello, I've installed Fedora 3.3 on two servers both running Windows
Server 2K8 and I have enabled journaling. Currently the leader is
successfully 'talking' to the follower but for some reason the follower
is not closing the journal file. I'm running the RmiJournalReceiver from
the command line currently, not as a service, so it displays DEBUG info.
When I ingest an object into the leader, the follower then will create a
TransportOutputFile in the journalFiles directory, then the file will
open followed by the object being written to the file. After 3 minutes
(followPollingInterval) the file is written to a second time (the
closing tag </FedoraJournal>) then that's it - the file remains open
(underscore). If I shut down Fedora and stop the RmiJournalReceiver,
remove the underscore from the journal file then fire things back up
again the journal file is read and the object is successfully ingested
into the follower. The journal file is also moved to the archive
directory. I'm not sure what I'm missing but if anyone has any ideas I'd
appreciate it, thanks.
