Perhaps you could pass the RELS-EXT datastream through to the stylesheet,
extract the identifier of the target of the hasPart relationship and use
this to insert an image tag in your HTML?

In Fedora I have created an object and this object has a method that returns
HTML code created from the object.
This object also have an hasPart relation with an image stored in the
repository.
