I was wondering if anybody could provide some recommendations as to the basic
hardware requirements for Fedora?

I currently have an install of Fedora 3.5 running on a virtual machine with 2GB
of RAM and a single 1800MHz CPU assigned to it.

Performance wise it appears to be a little slow. Ingesting individual objects
is very slow (taking close to 5 minutes at a time). This is on a test system
and generally under very little low.

How much memory is generally recommended for a small to medium setup? Or should
I be looking to increase my available CPU cycles?

Any tips or pointers are much appreciated.

Cheers,

Conor
