Are you sure that all your technology stack is set to work with UTF-8? I don't
believe oaiprovider has such a configuration and I suspect that the problem
lies elsewhere.

There is another problem left with the oaiprovider setup:
It now provides metadata in the formats i want to provide, but all
UTF-8 characters are replaced by ?? (two questionmarks). How do I get the UTF-8
