We have observed the following strange behaviour of fcrepo-3.6 given a
mal-formed search query:

The mal-formed search query

http://fedora.clarin-d.uni-saarland.de/fedora/objects/?pid=true&title=true&description=true&identifier=true&terms=*&query=&maxResults=5

produces a superficially correct tabular view of our items, but the
links under the pid's are invalid:

http://fedora.clarin-d.uni-saarland.de/fedora/objects/objects/clarind-uds%3Aanvil

and clicking on them produces white pages without any visible content.

I hesitate to qualify this behaviour as a bug, because the query URLs
is plain wrong (containing an extra "/" character after objects), but
the result still is a surprise: It looks as if the wrong syntax had
worked, but its is broken with non-functional links containing a
spurious duplication of "objects/".

As far as I know the wrong syntax does not come from any link produced
by fedora commons, but must be entered manually.

IMO, fedora commons should react to wrong input syntax with an error
html page to the user (it MUST NOT crash!).

Greetings from Saarbrücken,

Jörg Knappen
