scratch that! change xslt, restart tomcat, reindex pid, wait for solr, works

gave that a try Peter but indexing one document doesn't seem to work. If I
index the entire repo the 'field name' is picked up. If I change it in the xslt
and reindex just one document the change isn't picked up, even though the logs
show the reindex in gsearch and solr.

Hello, Alistair. You do indeed need to re-index in order to see the changes.
I would recommend re-indexing one PID then using either the fedoragsearch
interface or the SOLR admin interface to pull up the indexed document to make
sure your changes are there before doing a full re-index.

Subject: [fcrepo-user] gsearch xslt changes
sorry for the daft Q but if I change:
fedoragsearch/WEB-INF/classes/fgsconfigFinal/index/FgsIndex/foxmlToSolrGenerated.xslt
do I need to reindex the repo? None of the changes to the xslt are showing up
in the solr search. Specificallym, adding in a new rdf bit:
<xsl:for-each select="//rdf:Description/rdf:isInCategory/@rdf:resource">
<field name="rdf.Description_IsInCategory:resource">
<xsl:value-of select="."/>
</field>
</xsl:for-each>
removing stuff from the xslt doesn't remove it from the solr results so it's
prolly not a bum xsl causing the prob.
thanks,
Alistair
